AZ Premier - Unified/Special Olympics Spring 2026 Inclusive Program

This FREE program fosters inclusivity and teamwork among Special Olympics AZ athletes (ages 8-20 with intellectual disabilities or development delay) and partners (ages 8-20 without intellectual disability) through an engaging and structured Unified Sports Flag Football League, Practice and Games.
Practices and games will be held on Friday nights beginning April 3, 2026 through May 8, 2026.

Special Olympics is dedicated to promoting social inclusion through shared sports
training and competition experiences. Unified Sports joins people with and without
intellectual disabilities on the same team. It was inspired by a simple principle: training
together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding. In Unified
Sports, teams are made up of people of similar age and ability. That makes practices
more fun and games more challenging and exciting for all. Having sports in common is
just one more way that preconceptions and false ideas are swept away.

2026 Spring Flag season.
We will run a 7 week season plus playoffs.
Age cutoff will be 8/1/2025. Age division is determined by the age of the participant as of 8/1/2025.
